For you and your family
Keep working on your body, with guidance.
At AP Center you come in regularly to work on your physical condition, with adapted equipment and professional guidance. Here you can read how a session goes.
What a session is
Adapted equipment
Red light therapy
Functional massage
Structured guidance

What clients experience
“We focus on what is possible, but it is the client's persistence that makes it possible.”
Progress shows up in everyday things: getting yourself up, pouring your own glass of water, driving again, less pain, leaving the walking stick behind. Not everyone reaches the same point, but the work is what counts.
Who it is for
AP Center is for people with a neurological condition, whatever their level of function. We invite you to come and talk with us if these apply to you:
- You are able to sit in a wheelchair.
- You understand and can follow instructions.
- You can communicate if something feels wrong or painful.
A physical therapist assesses every person first, to see whether AP Center is a good place for you at this moment. An intake appointment does not confirm a place to start exercising. It is an introductory conversation.
What it costs
XCG 35 per session
This is our social rate for people with a physical limitation. The real cost is higher; the difference is covered by donations and funds, so sessions stay affordable for our clients.
Payment is made before the month of exercise.
Conditions we work with
We work with people who have a neurological condition and have completed formal rehabilitation. Open a condition to read how a session works.
Spinal cord injury
Guided exercise on adapted equipment, also seated in a wheelchair, to maintain strength, circulation and movement.
Stroke (CVA)
Working on strength, balance and movement of the affected side once rehabilitation has ended.
Multiple sclerosis (MS)
Sessions at your own pace, with attention to fatigue and to keeping your physical condition.
Parkinson's disease
Repeated guided movement, with attention to stiffness, posture and balance.
Cerebral palsy (CP)
Exercise and functional massage to keep joints moving and to ease stiffness.
Acquired brain injury
A structured place to keep working on condition and on everyday functioning.
Spina bifida
Equipment that also works for wheelchair users, guided by a trainer and physical therapist.

Who is AP Center for?
Adults with a neurological condition — for example spinal cord injury, stroke (CVA) or multiple sclerosis — at any level of function. You may use a wheelchair. What matters is that you can communicate when something does not feel right or hurts.
Can I come in a wheelchair, and is there transport?
Yes, wheelchair users are welcome. For transport, tell us in the intake form and we will discuss the options with you.
What does a session cost?
A session costs XCG 35 for people with a neurological condition. That is our social rate: the real cost is around XCG 80 per session, and donations and funds cover the difference. Payment for exercise takes place at the start of the exercise month.
What happens at an intake?
The intake is an introductory conversation — not a booking and not a confirmation of an exercise session. We get to know you, listen to your goals, explain how we work, and go through cost and schedule.
